Kiltyrie Trail

Pupils from Killin and Kenmore devised a cultural history trail at Kiltyrie, with the help of the NTS regional archaeologist and Ben Lawers ranger service. This is work in progress. The National Trust for Scotland is producing an Interpretive Plan for the whole of the Ben Lawers area (Trust owned land) and, subject to funding, the trail will be part of this plan.

The area of Kiltyrie is owned by the NTS but farmed privately. We would like to thank both farmers involved for their support. If you wish to inspect the cultural remains at Kiltyrie, please remember that this a working farm and keep to the Countryside Code: shut gates and take care around animals. The ground is rough and not suitable for small children. Wear suitable clothing.
