Oral History | Landscape Values

Oral History

As part of a community project led by Gary West, from Edinburgh University, pupils interviewed local residents to discover what life was like in their area in the 20th century. The interviewees all had fascinating stories to tell and their interviews have been recorded - these can be used by school pupils in the future.

Landscape Values

Local pupils were asked to participate in a project with Camilla Priede, from Aberdeen University, on landscape values. The pupils were encouraged to roam an area of land and consider and record their thoughts and feelings. We found it a very interesting and rewarding experience.
